A unique group activity ideal for occasions such as birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, wedding parties, date nights, and corporate team-building. The BrewBoat fleet accommodates up to 12, 14, or 16 guests aboard a 1-hour and 40-minute cruise on the Cuyahoga River through Cleveland, Ohio.
The Original
BrewBoat I & II
Our original pedal-powered cycleboats seat up to 14 or 16 guests (10 at pedal stations surrounding a central bar, and the rest on bench seats at the front of the boat). Each boat includes built-in coolers with ice, a Bluetooth sound system, open space for movement, and onboard crew support. Guests can pedal, relax, and enjoy a group outing on the water.
The Party Pontoons
BrewBoat III & IV
Our BrewBoat Lite bar boats are pedal-free and designed for a more relaxed experience. They can seat up to 12 guests and are well-suited for smaller groups. These boats are equipped with bar stools instead of bike seats and include the same amenities as other vessels in the fleet to provide a comfortable and enjoyable cruise from departure onward.

Duffy Boat Rentals
Experience boating with our 2023 Electric Duffy Boats, now available for rent. These electric boats accommodate up to 12 passengers and include a cooler, a Bluetooth sound system, and a full electric charge. A brief training session is provided before departure to ensure a safe and smooth experience. (Captain services are available with our other boat options.)
What Should I Bring on a BrewBoat Cruise?
All BrewBoats are equipped with a Bluetooth stereo system compatible with most smartphones, coolers with ice, and a licensed captain to operate the vessel.
Additionally, all boats are certified as passenger vessels by the U.S. Coast Guard, meeting the required safety standards and carrying appropriate emergency equipment. Our crew is trained in safety procedures.
Here are some suggestions for what you can bring, to make the most of your experience:
- Around 3 or 4 drinks per person. There’s no bathroom on board, so try not to drink more than your bladder can hold! We can make an emergency stop if needed.
- An awesome playlist. We’ve got great tunes, but you know what your group likes better. No Nickelback.
- Sunscreen. You will need sunscreen. Seriously. Get the good stuff.
- Weather-appropriate clothes. We’re a summer attraction, but it’s Cleveland, so keep an eye on the forecast anyway and dress accordingly.
- Munchies. Pizzas, bags of chips, ants-on-a-log, decadent charcuterie, birthday cakes … all are welcome.
- Your awesome attitude and beautiful face. In case no one said anything, you really do look great today.
